OBS still grabbing skeleton ESP on game capture

Capture

I thought stream-proof hid Fortnite ESP from OBS. It hid boxes. Skeleton still baked into the VOD. Health bars were clean.

Windows 11, 4090, game capture on FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping. Any setting I am missing besides “hide from capture”?

Skeleton has its own capture flag. Boxes were on, bones were not. Open the ESP tab and toggle hide-from-capture per module.

That was it. Skeleton had a separate hide switch. Local recording is clean now.

If you ever fall back to display capture, nothing is hidden. Game capture only.

NVIDIA overlay and Discord overlay will leak skeleton even if OBS is clean. Kill those first.

Auto HDR plus fullscreen optimizations broke hide-from-capture for me. Disabled both, bones gone from the VOD.

Discord overlay was on. Turned it off and recorded again. Clean.

Always review the file on your phone. The OBS preview lies.

Health bars hid fine for me. Only skeleton leaked. Same as OP.

If you stream, do not enable radar on a second monitor either. People capture that with a cam.

After an EAC update the per-module hide flags reset. Recheck them every patch day.

GeForce Experience instant replay grabbed bones for me even when OBS was clean. Turn that off too.

Instant replay was the last leak. Disabled Highlights. Good catch.

Xbox Game Bar is the same problem. If Windows is recording, the overlay is in the clip.
